Rumpf, Krisztina
Mathematics, English
Krisztina is an upper grade Mathematics and English teacher who joined our school in 2023. She believes that the fundamentals of mathematics come from discovery; this is why it is important for her that students discover mathematical properties rather than take them as a given. As a teacher, she encourages and supports students to become independent thinkers by providing opportunities for them to think for themselves, as well as orientating lessons around the students rather than the teacher. She follows the same philosopy when teaching English. One of her favourite things about being an English teacher is helping students discover how studying English Language and Literature can empower them as collaborators, critical thinkers and storytellers who can communicate ideas that solve problems and inspire change.
