Szeged International Primary School (Szeged IPS) was founded in 2017 by the Mosolygó Arc Alapítvány (later renamed as Kalocsai Krisztina Alapítvány).

In 2023, Szeged International Education Center Nonprofit LLC. has overtaken the governance of Szeged IPS.

Szeged International Education Center Nonprofit LLC was founded by five dedicated families whose children also attend the school. The Organization considers it important that such a unique international institution like the Szeged International Primary School operates in Szeged and the region, providing a possibility for English quality education for students within a caring atmosphere.

Specific aims of the Organization:

• operating and supporting an international kindergarten and primary school,
• organising activities for young children to learn languages,
• organising cultural and linguistic activities for young children,
• promoting environmentally conscious education for young children,
• providing free-time and leisure activities for children.
