School Introduction Meeting – Get to Know Szeged IPS!
We warmly invite families to our School Introduction Meeting on Wednesday, 7 October 2026 at 5:00 PM.
The event is for families whose children will start Grade 1 in the 2027/2028 school year, as well as for those who are considering transferring to Szeged IPS from another school.
During the meeting, we will introduce the educational approach, daily operation and international character of Szeged International Primary School. Parents will learn more about how we combine international, English-medium education with the requirements of the Hungarian national curriculum, and how English is used naturally throughout everyday school life.
We will also talk about our small-group learning environment, the IPC and IMYC programmes, extracurricular opportunities, and how we support children in becoming confident members of an international, English-speaking school community.
Families of future Grade 1 students will also have the opportunity to meet Soós-Vida Ibolya, the future Grade 1 class teacher for the 2027/2028 school year, who has been a member of the Szeged IPS teaching team since 2020.
We also warmly welcome families whose children are currently attending another school and would like to learn more about the possibility of transferring to Szeged IPS during the school year or from the beginning of the next academic year.
Children are very welcome to join us too. While parents learn more about the school and have the opportunity to ask questions, children can take part in a fun English-language arts and crafts activity with our teachers. This gives them a chance to experience the atmosphere of Szeged IPS and get a first taste of our English-speaking environment.
Date: Wednesday, 7 October 2026, 5:00 PM
